Criterion

Criterion launched its new website today. Filled with tons of great movies, arguably the best collection available, and also offering streaming movies on their site, this is definitely something worth spending some time on. Personally im pretty excited to be able to get bottle rocket on blu ray!

Great Ideea

check this out^. Its fun to play with or simply use as inspiration, if nothing else. The engine pulls from flickr and you can designate up to 10 colors, or just one and crank it up. The results are pretty amazing!

Stussy Vancouver

The Stussy Vancouver location finally opened over the weekend after much anticipation. I always enjoy seeing what new layout/concept Stussy comes up with for its flagship stores, but this one especially caught my eye utilizing local and all natural resources. You can find the story by clicking the image above and also a small feature at H(y)r collective. This day in age- the location, layout and concept are just as important as the product itself. No room for error in the retail game, and Matt George (goodfoot, ransom, nomad) and his crew are really doing Canada a service with all of their stores. This spot was the Boneyards pop up shop over summer08, what a stark contrast! The site is a great walkthrough of ideas, planning, and construction. Doing buildouts and renovations on our two stores has really taught me to appreciate what others go through.

Congratulations on another amazing store!
