MIND FIELD PREMIERE

I dont get too excited about too many things…..thanks to the Sarge, Mike and Frog!

Sean and I were just talking last week about how important previous AWS videos were to us in our lives, and how we remember each one so clearly. when and where we were the first time we saw them, practically down to what we were wearing. Definitely the brand that shaped skateboarding for me and in a small way contributed to my outlook on life in general. No Pressure.

Ahhh Mannnn X LV

I hoped these would have been worse. Still too many things going for me and for some reason remind of a DC volcano among other things, but really pretty solid. pics from hypebeast.

Palm Pre

Ive had a couple palm phones and have always been a fan, they were touch screen long before anyone else. The OS is great but hasnt been updated for a few years, and has visually fallen behind since the release of recent blackberry models, htc touch models, and obviously the iphone. Those that know me well know that Ive preferred all things apple since about 97, so it would only make sense that i would have an iphone right? Well as it stands i am paying about 30 dollars a month for my service and have unlimited everything except minutes, which i recently discovered last month i only used 31 of. Im much more of a texter.
So If I can upgrade from my palm centro to the upcoming Palm Pre and not have to upgrade my plan, im on it. You will never find me paying 100 dollars a month for service unless the slider spits out 5 dollar bills every time i answer a call.

Palms web OS looks amazing, as long as it syncs w/ my imac i am hyped. best of both worlds, large touch screen and a slide out qwerty to get it handled. Definitely ready for some wi-fi! For those interested there is a video tour at gizmodo.

btw the “touchstone” above is its wireless charging dock! just set it on the stone and it connects!

Helvetica

Not a new documentary, but one of the best and it is debuting in a one hour version on pbs tonight for those in NE. Check it out, Tuesday, January 6th. 10pm central.
